COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

Please Review & Self-Evaluate before your appointment

We all know that that COVID-19 has not gone away; business will not be as usual; and massage will not be appropriate for everyone at this point.  It is still “Safer at Home.”  However, I hope to serve those that I can, within my own comfort level and with everyone’s health in mind.   Please review the policies below and self-assess if massage is appropriate for you at this time. 

Here’s what you can likely expect from ME during Phase One of Re-opening.

  • Therapists will abide by “Safer at Home” recommendations and practice social distancing outside the office.
  • Therapists will monitor themselves for Fever and symptoms.
  • Therapists will cancel appointments if they become sick, exposed or symptomatic.
  • Therapists will wear masks and goggles (when available) during sessions.
  • Therapists will wash hands before/after each session and use hand sanitizer as needed.
  • Therapists will provide clean sheets for each session.
  • Porous and Fabric Surfaces in the Room will be minimized, as well as most decor.
  • Blankets will NOT be provided. (Feel free to bring one from home.)  
  • Sessions may include reduced time in a prone/face-down position.
  • Water will not be served.
  • Room is equipt with an H13 True HEPA Air Purifier rated CADR 250
  • The Massage Table and frequent touchables will be wipes with disinfectant grade a bleach solution after each client. 
  • Session will wrap up sessions within the appointment time to leave ample time for cleaning.

During Phase One, I ask that YOU:

  • PLEASE CANCEL!  Notify your therapist as soon as possible if you can’t/shouldn’t keep your scheduled appointment.   As always, Late Cancellation Fees will be waived if you develop last minute symptoms.  “No Shows” will be billed the full price of the session.   Please Call/Text 540-632-2051 or email if you need to cancel.
  • STAY HOME!  If you choose not to socially distance, wear a mask in indoor public spaces or abide by “Safer-at-home” recommendations.
  • STAY HOME!  If you or someone in your household interacts with frequently visits or works in a high traffic environment where people opt not to wear masks or practice preventative habits such as hand washing and social distancing. 
  • STAY HOME!  If you frequently enter a highly exposed environment.
  • STAY HOME!  If you have traveled to/through a “hot spot” or via air/public transportation in the last 14 days.
  • STAY HOME!  If you have a Cough, Respiratory Symptoms, Fever or have been exposed in the last 14 days.
  • STAY HOME!  If you consider yourself or someone you live with high risk or vulnerable.

At your appointment, to help reduce Community Transmission you will be required to please:

  • Be a Fully Healthy, Socially Distant and Low Risk Client during Phase One!
  • Sign a COVID-19 Agreement and risk waiver attesting to our mutual agreement of these terms.
  • Bring a water bottle from home to have in your car after your session.
  • Wait in your car until your session time.
  • Leave non-essential items and phones in your car.
  • Wear a mask at all times in the building and during your entire session.
  • Wash your hands before you enter and after you leave the Service Room.
  • Reduce small-talk to improve Mask fit and effectiveness.
  • Utilize Touchless check-out, such as Apple or Google Pay if you can.   I’ll be turning off the signature feature for credit cards.  Before check-out, let your therapist know if you’d like to leave a tip.  If you don’t automatically get an email receipt, just let us know and we can provide one.
  • Wrap up your session quickly so the therapist has time to clean the room.
